Road surface temperature, air temperature, humidity humidity and dewpoint temperature are important parameters used to evaluate road conditions, monitor weather , and predict risk factors like black ice/ice on the road.
SRS1000 can be used for the effective road management and operation, safe driving and prevention of accidents especially during the winter season by measuring the parameters.
SRS1000 smart road sensor was selected as an innovative product under South Korea's government certification and public procurement programs.
SRS1000 uses IR detector which allows you to measure the road surface temperature accurately and it measures air temperature and relative humidity around the road by using a humidity and temperature sensor.
It can also measure snow height and provides information on black ice/ice, potholes and obstacles on the road.
With the help of a built-in range finder, SRS1000 can do more accurate measurement of road surface temperature and black ice/ice by eliminating the measured values over threshold caused by obstacles on the road.
Monitoring of all collected data on smartphone.
All observation data, which are transferred from SRS1000 to a smartphone via Bluetooth communication, can be monitored on a dedicated software ELPViewer in real time. And the heat map of road surface temperature and road condition information are visualized on a GIS map.
